HALF DAY ATHENS SIGHTSEEING

The tour starts from your hotel or the select by you location.

The start of the tour takes place in Syntagma Square. Where we can see the Parliament of Greece and the square surrounded by the most famous hotels in the city of Athens and you will see the change of the Presidency guard at the Monument of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament of Greece. .

Then we will have the opportunity to head to the Temple of Zeus. Which is an open-air museum and unification point of the archaeological sites of Athens.

We will take a stop for photos at the Kallimarmaro or Panathinaiko Stadium, the venue of the 1st modern Olympic Games in 1896.

By following the Panepistimiou Street, we will have the chance to pass through the Monetary Museum of Athens. As well as by two impressive neoclassical buildings designed by the Danish architect Theophilus Freiherrvon Hansen. We are talking about the Academy of Athens and the National Library of Greece.

Our next stop is the Acropolis and the Parthenon Temple. Where we are given the unique opportunity to admire the most famous monument of the Athenian state. Built in the middle of the fifth century BC, in order to honor the goddess Athena. In the same place, we will visit also the new Acropolis Museum, the Herod Atticus Conservatory and the Theater of Dionysus.
